The brief

A food and grocery delivery service in Mozambique needed a customer app built around how people there pay: mobile money, wallet credits and cash on delivery, alongside cards.

What I built

UI DevelopmentAPI Integration
  1. Built the customer ordering flow: restaurant and supermarket browsing, search and filters, favourites, cart and checkout with a delivery location on Google Maps.
  2. Integrated payments for the local market: M-Pesa and e-Mola top-ups for wallet credits, Stripe card payments, and cash on delivery with change requested in advance.
  3. Built live order tracking synced with the rider app, order states from pending to completed, cancellations, rider tips, and push and chat notifications.
  4. Added Google and Apple sign-in, and integrated and tested every endpoint against the backend team's Postman collection.
